Yesterday, Bio-Solutions Corp. announced that after careful consideration and multiple inquiries from a few American private companies the Company will be expanding their business into the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) sector. The DME Industry is an expanding, yet fragmented, $26 Billion plus a year industry.
Many organically built “Mom and Pop” operations have approached Bio-Solutions Corp. The Company’s Board and Management have decided this would be a beneficial direction to grow and expand the Company.
Dr. Gilles Chaumillon, Chief Executive Officer and President of Bio-Solutions Corp., stated, “This would be a good move both in terms of revenue potential and to build Shareholder Value. I have been very impressed to see what some of these “Mom and Pop”, companies have been capable of.”
“After speaking with many DME industry veterans, we at Bio, see a vast opportunity with Round 2 of Medicare DMEPOS, competitive bidding being initiated before 2013. Recent changes will dictate that DME Companies must transition away from the traditional “Fee Schedule” and enter Competitive Bidding. In return this will take a lot of the pricing burden away from the Taxpayer and Medicare. As a company, our goal is to align ourselves with those in the Competitive Bidding process, as well as those working with various Medicare reimbursement programs.
