Bio-AMD is a development-stage company operating through its majority-owned UK subsidiaries: WDX Organisation Ltd., a global currency data reference company; and Bio AMD Ltd., a technology developer for medical diagnostic devices. In an update earlier today, BIAD announced that it is in informal discussions with potential partners regarding the commercialization of Bio AMD Ltd.’s hand-held Digital Strip Reader (DSR) and blood coagulation monitor (COAG) technologies.
BIAD has readied both DSR and COAG for commercial development in conjunction with a partner, and this morning said that it is in “high level informal talks with suitable prospective partners for both these technologies.”
BIAD is currently focusing on securing commercial agreements to license its technologies in large territories by targeting commercial partners that have established global or multi-continental reach.
The company noted that there can be no guarantee that the commercialization discussions pertaining to DSR and COAG will lead to acceptable commercial deal(s), though the company is “highly encouraged by the level of engagement demonstrated by prospective partners and the stage these discussions have reached.”
