American Food Company manufactures and markets snack foods under the “Reinhold & Timko Beef Snacks” brand name, and supplies their products to more then 300 distributors across the US.
The company has plans to expand their regional base of operations by introducing a new outlet marketing division called Beef Jerky Outlet Corp (BJO). Beef Jerky Outlet will play an important role in expanding the company by authorizing new franchisees and distributors.
The meat snack industry is poised to grow steadily in the next five years as industry sales grew from $1.3 billion in 1999 to $2.4 billion in 2003, and reached $ 3.2 billion in 2006; representing a 13.7% growth rate.
