Uranium Energy is a junior resource company focused on becoming a near-term In-Situ Recovery (ISR) uranium producer in the United States. The operational management consists of uranium mining and exploration professionals whose collective experience in the uranium mining industry gives the Company continuing uranium mine-finding, development and operations expertise.
The company’s primary focus is its Goliad ISR project located in Texas where permit applications were recently inked and submitted. The management anticipates the Goliad project will begin commercial operations in 2010. Current non-code compliant resources at Goliad are 5.2 million pounds, though management believes that the company will be successful in delineating additional resources based on historic exploration.
Uranium Energy’s inventory of databases is currently estimated to contain more than 4.6 million feet of drilling data, including drill hole location maps, various reserve and resource calculation reports, scoping studies, geological studies, and various other important strategic data. These databases are the end result of millions of dollars of past exploration spending, most of which was incurred by senior energy companies.
