Utah Uranium Corp. (UTUC.OB) was founded in 2001. The natural resource company is focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of uranium properties in the US. The Company’s primarily acquires past-producing underground uranium mines, highly prospective new uranium projects, and vanadium projects.
One of Utah Uranium’s properties is the Henry Mountains Complex, one of the largest known uranium resources in the Colorado Plateau District. Ted Murer, an exploration geologist who discovered the complex’s first mine in the 1980s (the Tony M Mine), has assembled the Company’s Pinto claim. Mr. Murer has utilized the same data and methodology as the Tony M Mine and the Bullfrog Mine. Both mines are also part of the complex.
Utah Uranium has the mining rights to five properties with strong uranium potential throughout Utah and Colorado. All of their properties that cover 10,255 acres are within economic hauling distance. Three of the Company’s five projects have already produced uranium in the past. The re-development of these projects has been made economically viable because of a strong uranium demand and pricing environment.
