Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (HYBR.OB) develops and markets electric-powered vehicles and products based on advanced lithium battery technology. The Company’s main focus is on its proprietary advanced lithium management and battery balancing system. In addition, the company is expanding its experience by converting vehicles to electric power by using the lithium battery. Some vehicles already tested include the Chrysler PT Cruisers, Mini Coopers, Chrysler Crossfires, and Mercedes’ Smart Cars.
Hybrid Technologies markets its lithium battery technology in the United States and has plans to develop and produce lithium-powered vehicles for the US market. In addition to vehicles, the Company has converted scooters, bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles for the handicapped. Hybrid Technologies is also developing a portable power pack technology for converting various vehicles. These battery packs will be produced in a variety of sizes, capacities and voltages.
The Company also offers Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications services to business and residential customers through its majority owned subsidiary, Zingo, Inc. This operation is expected to expand into Canada, Europe, and Asia.
