The nutritional supplements are provided in a one of a kind edible film strip delivery system. HealthSport’s film strip delivery system provides rapid dissolution and release of active ingredients when it comes in contact with the oral mucosa. The innovative product, Enlyten™ SportStrips™, is a method of replacing electrolytes lost during heavy workouts. The product helps athletes avoid issues from excessive fluid consumption that common sports drinks can cause. The sports strips are offered in different flavors: orange, berry, and grape.
In May 2007, HSPO acquired InnoZen, Inc., a paramount formulator, developer and manufacturer of edible thin film strips. InnoZen was the first company to provide a successful medicated film strip, Chloraseptic Sore Throat Relief Strips®. HealthSport will use InnoZen’s in house research and capabilities to more rapidly formulate and develop the Sport Strip.
HealthSport plans to research, develop, and manufacture new thin film products and other products using various oral delivery systems.
