This Monday, a survey was conducted with some of the top economic experts in the world, and unfortunately, the general consensus on global economic status was rather grim. The majority of those polled believe that the recession now being felt around the world is going to last through all of 2009. Ken Simonson, spokesperson for the National Association of Business Economists said: “There has been a sharp decline in current and near-term expectations among economists. This represents a big turnabout in attitude about the economy.”
