In a 10-Q filed with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), B Green Innovations reported a net income of $1,377, 137 for the first three months of 2010 ending March 31st. In 2009 for the same period, B Green reported a net loss of $825,857. The filing also disclosed that total revenues increased 182%, gross profit increased 292% and total operating expenses were decreased by 1% for the first quarter in 2010 as compared to totals reported for the same quarter in 2009.
With regards to the gains in income, Jerry Mahoney, Founder of B Green, commented, “We are proud to report these results for the three months ended March 31, 2010. The company is doing an excellent job of delivering great results. We look forward to continuing to deliver superior results throughout the rest of the year.”
In this month, B Green has released a couple significant press releases. On May 3rd, they announced the release of their 100% degradable / biodegradable compactor bags coupled with an introductory offer of free shipping on the bags. On May 10th, B Green announced that VibeAway, their acoustical product designed to stop the problem of walking, vibrating and shaking washing machines, would begin selling on QVC on May 12, 2010. The demand for VibeAway has been increasing steadily over the last few years according to B Green and the product now being featured on QVC should help with additional revenues in upcoming quarters.
B Green has partnered with many companies to market their VibeAway and EcoPad products. The EcoPad is another environmentally friendly product offered by B Green that is made from recycled tires and designed to absorb sound and reduce vibration for heavy equipment. A few of the partner companies include Maytag, Whirlpool and Amana.
