Apolo Gold & Energy Inc. (APLL) Accelerates Metals and Energy Production Strategy, Appoints Two New Experienced Directors to Flesh-Out Board

Apolo Gold & Energy, which has been steadily moving towards the goal of becoming a full-scale mineral development operation for both precious and industrial metals, determining to also pursue (since they amended their articles of incorporation back in 2005) premium oil and gas opportunities alongside this goal here in the U.S., reported an uptick in momentum along these lines today with the appointment of two new, key directors, Fan Xiaojun and Zheng Heping.

Fleshing out the management bench is going to be essential for APLL, in order to successfully execute their ambitious plans to grow energy/metal recovery operations here in the U.S. (as well as in China through their wholly-owned subsidiary; APLL is incorporated in Nevada). The appointment Messrs. Fan and Zheng, each of whom brings a wealth of administrative and finance experience to the table, is a good indication to markets of how serious management is about ramping up their resource plans. The new appointees join the APLL Board alongside President and CEO Kelvin Chak, CFO Edward Low (based in Vancouver), and fellow Directors, Huang Chin Lung and David Yu.

Mr. Fan (Bachelor in Business Studies, Hunan University of Commerce – 1987) is a 25-year veteran across both public and private sectors, having served over 15 years (up until 2002) as an Administrative Officer for the People’s Government of Hunan Province, covering everything from professional-grade research to general oversight and supervision of small, local companies within the province, as well as being the go-to liaison for putting together government officials’ plans and handling associated public relations. Mr. Fan then put these skills to good use for Beijing CenTech RVing Club Co. Ltd. in 2003, handling planning and strategic development concerns as the company’s investment manager.

Xiaojun also served as a Director at Emerging Capital Partners (ECP) for six years, helping them to implement similarly robust annual objectives and principals of management with respect to optimizing the company’s bond issuance, helping ECP to develop strategic planning and policy frameworks. Another four years served as Director of US Master Partnership Ltd. for the Greater China region, handling acquisition strategy and financial reports, speaks volumes of Xiaojun’s abilities in this field and should be a tip-off to investors as to the quality of the appointment. Mr. Fan has been executing financial planning and income distribution management for Zhong Hao Asset Management (Hunan) Co., Ltd. since February of 2012 as the Chairman and CEO (needless to say, coming into the Director role at APLL hot off the trail with both guns blazing).

Mr. Zheng (Bachelor in Business Studies, Hunan University of Commerce – 1997) did seven years consulting for Beijing Zhongtian Fangche (RV) Club in marketing and investment, handling everything from custom financial planning to implementation of complete ad and marketing campaigns, before moving on to serve as President of San Ba Fu Le Ltd. for three years. After heading up executive control at San Ba Fu Le, Heping went on to being a Director of R&D, as well as a fund manager at Tianjin Hanhong, Co., Ltd., applying his knowledge to the execution of Board decisions, administrative leadership and annual investor/partner conference management. Heping has been Chairman of the Board of Directors for Changsha Hanhong Co. Ltd. since late 2012 and has clearly established himself as a competent leader and Director, overseeing day to day management as well as cultivating long-term strategy with ease.

CEO of APLL, Kelvin Chak (MBA from the University of Surrey, U.K., with over a decade in the field as an IT Engineer), hailed the new appointments quite proudly and commented that the competencies of Mr. Fan and Mr. Zheng round out the Board nicely, citing their vast experience and contacts in both public and private sectors as key to accelerating APLL’s business plan. Both men have considerable experience in the difficult, no-nonsense motor home/RV rental space in China as part of their extremely deep business skill set and APLL is clearly building a hard hitting management team here.
