AmeriLithium Corp. issued an update on the progress of the company’s mining program in the western United States, where the company is exploring for various minerals.
AmeriLithium Corp. just completed the first hole of an exploratory drilling program at the Paymaster Canyon Lithium brine project located in Nevada, and expressed optimism about the initial phase of the drilling program. “We’ve already encountered areas within hole one that look positive for brine, and we are looking forward to the successful completion of the next hole,” said Matthew Worrall, the CEO of AmeriLithium Corp.
AmeriLithium Corp. said that two other holes at the site are in the process of being drilled and should be completed shortly. The company’s program here calls for drilling a total of eight holes at the property.
ALS Chemex will conduct the analysis of the samples obtained during the drilling program. The company will test for more than two dozen elements including lithium, potassium and magnesium.
The Paymaster Canyon Lithium brine project is one of three projects that AmeriLithium Corp. is working on in Nevada. The property consists of a 5,880 acre claim that is located in close proximity to an existing producing lithium area.
