Aladdin Beverage (ADTJ.PK) has a Whole 6-Pack of Genies in a Bottle

Aladdin is taking center stage among consumers with their distribution of Organic beer. Aladdin Beverage (ADTJ.PK) is at the forefront of this trend within the beer industry, growing from $9 million in 2003 to $19 million in 2005, according to the Organic Trade Association. “You see some domestically brewed organic beers in the market, but very few imported organic beers. We capture two emerging niches in the beer industry by signing with Green Man Brewery — organic beer and imported beer,” states Ted O’Connor, President of Aladdin Beverage.

Green Man Lager (4.8% above), their inaugural brews, is a light and caramel-like European-style pilsner. Best Bitter (4.5% above), and is deep copper-colored with a long lasting creamy head. Their Dark Mild (3.5% above) is light in body, and sweeter than the other two in the lineup with a hint of chocolate in the background. All three will be available in 500ml. bottles, and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Green Man Lager is made in New Zealand and is an organic beer well crafted Best Bitter, brewed with Pale Ale malt, Crystal malt, a special unspecified mix of hops and fermented with a London ale yeast. This is one of two beers, only organic brewery.

Green Man Lager is a deep copper-colored with a lasting creamy head and a moderate top character across the middle palate. Green Man Best Bitter is a sound derivation of its English parent although Kiwi beer lovers may find it slightly more subtle than others they have tried on their travels. The beer’s lightweight means eat fish or try creamy pasta to go with it. It has a minimum lagering period of three weeks intended to allow the flavors to meld together.

Green Man Dark and Mild brewed in Dunedin, made in New Zealand, has a mellow aroma, is light in body, and sweeter than the other two in the line-up. This is the second release from Dunedin’s only organic brewery, and is a deep copper-colored. This may come from the coffee-chocolate flavors of the four-malt blend. You can enjoy this beer with classic fish and chips, but if you are looking for something a bit more stylish try corned beef with mustard sauce, boiled onions and potatoes.

Kross Golden Ale is made in Chile and characterized by an intense gold color and fruity bouquet, with caramel and fruit notes on the palate, and a crisp, dry, slightly bitter, citrus finish. This is ideal to accompany red meat, especially lamb, or simply as an aperitif, where its delicately bitter flavor prepares the palate for the tastes to come.

Patagonia Blond Ale is from Argentina, brewed under the laws dictated by Bavarian Duke William the IV, which stated premium beers must be brewed with 100% pure malted barley, hops, yeast, and water. Established in 1884, the Patagonia Brewery is the oldest in the country and they still adhere to the traditional brewing standards, which existed since their beginning. Only 100% natural ingredients are used during the brewing process and you will taste the premium quality of the beer in every sip.

Devassa Tropical Ale is imported from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, referred to as a Tropical Ale, is an Amber Ale by classification. The taste is smooth and extremely creamy.

Devassa Dark, is the Tropical version of a dark lager. It’s a dark beer produced from special malts and is deliciously creamy. It has a marking flavor, a moderate bitterness and a coffee aroma.

Devassa Tropical Lager, also imported from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, referred to as a Tropical Lager, is made from selected malts and has a light and refreshing taste. It maintains the honesty of it roots with a distinct Micro Beer taste and feel. Currently, it is the fastest growing and most popular beer in Rio, and it won the taste contest in London’s groovy Jungle-Drums Magazine!

It is Aladdin’s goal to be known as the top beer importer to North America, with only quality and forward-thinking brands in its portfolio. In its pursuit of global beer happiness, they leave no country unexplored and no beer un-tasted.
