Agoracom’s Featured Company, Canadia Shield Resources, Inc. (TSX–CSP), is focused on the acquisition and exploration of strategically located precious metal and base metal properties in South America. Canadia Shield has an advanced portfolio of properties, with much of these properties being acquired during the Gallant Minerals strategic agreement finalized in 2004. The company’s properties through this agreement include the Humajala Property, the Cerro Cori Property, the Ccello Ccello Property and the Pucarana Property. Additionally, through CSP’s second acquisition, Canadian Shield added three properties including La Estrella Property and Pampa Poroma Property in Peru and the Trol Property in southern Chile.
In Q1 of 2007, Canadian Shield added the Colpayoc Property and La Tola Property via the Company’s 100% owned subsidiary entitled Compania Minera.
Currently, Canadian Shield will focus on project generation and joint venture opportunities to provide shareholders with interests in a broad portfolio of South American mineral properties.
