Hybrid Technologies, a clear leader in the field of lithium battery powered products, has been selected by Treasure HD Channel to be featured in a segment this week about lithium powered vehicles. The thirty minute long segment will be focused on the company’s research and development of their emission-free electric vehicles. It will be recorded over the next few days at Hybrid Technologies Mooresville factory in order to illustrate the process involved to transform a standard combustion engine powered vehicle into an emissions free vehicle.
This will not be the first television appearance for the company, which opened the doors to the media at an open house earlier in the month. Over 150 guests attended the open house and were allowed to view the company’s product lines, as well as test drive their eco-friendly vehicles. State politicians, shareholders, media and the public alike were pleased with the company’s progress, breadth of product lines and the vehicles’ performance. The open house gave Hybrid Technologies a one minute and forty one second segment on North Carolina’s CBS Affiliate WBTV.
However, this will be the first national televised appearance for the company. Treasure HD airs nationwide on the Dish satellite network (channel 9473), on the East Coast on Cablevision (channel 724), and in more than forty countries worldwide. The network is dedicated to pursuing stories about people and their passions. It will provide an opportunity for Hybrid Technologies to show off products that defy electric vehicle stereotypes.
Liv FLASH is the name given to the company’s electric version of the Mini-Cooper. The car provides great handling and does not have the diminished power that people often expect from an electric vehicle. In addition to the Mini-Cooper, Hybrid Technologies also offers the Liv RUSH, which is a two-door, race-inspired sports car that can go from 0 to 60mph in less than 6 seconds. Other products include a full electric motorcycle, the Liv RYDER and the company’s secret weapon, the Liv REAPER, an armored SUV equipped with a roof mounted machine gun, and – you guessed it – an environmentally friendly profile.
