The BAND Royalty offering was a first for the growing crypto NFT industry; the company called it a “potentially worldwide game-changing landmark event for the music industry itself.” In total, the BAND NFT presale, conducted over the last two weeks, totaled almost $1 million and involved an estimated 200 NFT collectors; the public launch of the BAND NFT collection will be on May 15 via OpenSea.io, the largest NFT marketplace in the world. Barnaby Andersun and Noble Drakoln, founders of BAND Royalty and experts in the fields of both blockchain and music royalty investing, have announced plans for several NFT events throughout 2021 in addition to this initial offering; those events include the introduction of Band tokens as well as a new platform for musicians and fans to interact through NFTs.
