Today, OBJ Enterprises announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Novalon Games had signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Flying Mollusk, LLC, a developer of advanced biofeedback gaming technology. The LOI gives Novalon Games an option period of 90 days to conduct due diligence toward licensing and revenue-sharing opportunities with Flying Mollusk, LLC. The LOI represents both companies’ intent to enter into a partnership and potentially license Flying Mollusk, LLC’s cutting-edge biofeedback technology in OBJ Enterprises’ mobile gaming titles.
Based in Los Angeles, Flying Mollusk is a developer that has become well-known for its implementation of biofeedback tools in gaming experiences. One of its breakthrough biofeedback technologies is one in which players are connected more directly to their gaming experience through heart-monitoring sensors. These sensors can then adapt or heighten gameplay— for example, by making the game being played more challenging— for heightened gaming experiences.
“Flying Mollusk is integrating cutting-edge technologies into games in a way that’s never been seen before,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “We are extremely excited to discuss ways that we might leverage their top-notch development team to help create a new slate of applications for the mobile market under the Novalon Games brand.”
OBJ Enterprises is looking to build a robust portfolio of mobile gaming apps with broad consumer appeal. Through its gaming division, Obscene Interactive, the company plans to make these apps available across a broad spectrum of mobile devices for optimal marketing value.
