National Automation Services, engaged in the design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electronic automation controlled systems and machinery, reports that it has formed a new board of directors to guide the company’s future endeavors. Board members are as follows:
Tom Sego – Formerly worked nine years at Apple as head of worldwide sales and sales support in addition to co-founding three different start-ups: SunVault, Clearfly Communications, and SouthInk. He is currently CEO of SouthInk, a wine sales and marketing company that exports Chilean and Argentinean wine to the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Asia. Sego also previously worked at Alta Vista in business analysis and product management; performed merger and acquisition work in business development at Emerson Electric after getting his MBA from Harvard Business School; and held various engineering positions at Eli Lilly and Caterpillar.
Jeremy Briggs – Served as NASV’s principal financial officer since January 1, 2009. He also has served as the company’s vice president and chief accounting officer since January 2009 (he has worked for us since July 2008, originally as Senior Accountant, and from October through December 2008 as Controller) and is responsible for directing our overall accounting policies and functions. Briggs has more than 15 years of experience in business with emphasis on accounting and finance. Jeremy has a MBA in accounting and finance from Keller Graduate School.
Sean Sego – Has served as director and secretary of NASV since April 2013. Sego co-founded Intrinsic Value Capital Management, LLC, a value investment management group, where he is currently the managing director. Sego has served in various advisor, supervisor and manager positions within the financial services industry including Olde Discount Brokers, H& R Block Financial, and Ameriprise Financial; and had a 10-year career in environment, safety, and human relations management at Ashland Oil (Marathon), ARCO (BP Products Company), Cherne Contracting, and Compaq Computers. Sego brings valuable expertise in project assessment, risk management and capital development from this period. He has served on several advisory boards assisting in funding and operational development. Sego graduated from Indiana State University with bachelor’s degree in business management in 1993.
Robert W. Chance – Has served as a director and NASV president and CEO since October 2, 2007. From July 2005 to June 2007, Chance was chief operations officer of Nytrox Systems. He previously held management positions in Siemens and Johnson Controls and worked for representatives of Honeywell and Fisher Controls International over the course of his 30-year career in the automation and controls industry. Chance attended Mount San Antonio Jr. College, Oregon State University and Trinity College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing.
