Obscene Interactive, a subsidiary of OBJ Enterprises, unveiled a teaser of the company’s new game app “Creature Tavern” online. Creature Tavern is a strategy and time management game in the vein of the popular Diner Dash series. The app, when released, will be available for download on smartphones and tablet computers.
Sarasota, FL-based Obscene Interactive is focused on developing and marketing social gaming apps, and describes itself as “an emerging global developer of social gaming applications”. The company’s technology allows for its game apps to be available to a global audience, with releases supporting multiple device brands and platforms.
Creature Tavern sees players attempting to satisfy angry monsters in a fantasy medieval tavern, serving food and drinks as characters circulate in and out of the tavern, while trying to earn as much money as possible. Novalon Games, OBJE’s joint venture partner for the project, hosted the teaser video to get feedback from tablet and smartphone gamers.
This is the first paid app developed within the venture between OBJE and Novalon; the companies anticipate a successful launch due to the game’s art design and gameplay. OBJE plans to deliver a wide range of game apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
