Primo Water Corp. (PRMW) Announces New Additions and Promotions to Senior Management Team

Leading provider of multi-gallon purified bottled water and water dispensers, Primo Water, announced that Matt Sheehan, who currently sits as Primo’s Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer and Richard Belmont has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manger of Consumer Innovation and Global Sourcing. Prior to his promotion, Belmont sat as Primo Water’s General Manger, Water Dispensers. In addition to two internal promotions, Primo Water welcomed Mary Leonard who has joined as Senior Vice President and General Manger of United States Water.

Sheehan’s promotion to President and Chief Operating Officer of Primo Water became effective as of June 10th, 2013. Sheehan first joined the Primo Water family in December 2012 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously Sheehan was with Coinstar, Inc., where he was instrumental in implementing the well loved by consumers, Redbox business, acquired by Coinstar in 2009. Most recently, he acted as a Senior Venture Advisor, strategically advising ventures within the Coinstar company lineup on long-term strategy, retail and distribution execution, and technology. From 2008 to 2011 as Vice President, General Manager, Sheehan developed and led the first Redbox automated retail venture.

Belmont, already apart of the Primo Water family, now acts in his new role as Senior Vice President of Consumer Innovation, effective as of June 10, 2013. In January 2012, Belmont held the role of Primo Water’s General Manager, Water Dispensers and prior to that served as Vice President, Products from March 2010 until January 2012. In addition he sat as Vice President of Marketing from September 2009 until March 2010. Previously Belmont served in several key roles at Blue Rhino Corporation.

With over 30 years of experience, Leonard brings her experience in logistics, transportation, and growth management. With extensive experience in operations in both the United States and Europe, Leonard will be a promising addition. Most recently Leonard served as Chief Performance Officer for Coinstar, Inc., overseeing customer service, strategic internal communications, kiosk deployment operations, and management of properties and facilities. From 2006 to 2010, Leonard served as Senior Vice President, Operations at Redbox, acquired by Coinstar back in 2009. While at Redbox, she was responsible for strategy development and tactical execution of all facets of operations. From 2002 to 2006, Leonard held strong positions of responsibility at RR Donnelley Logistics. Additionally from 1977 to 2002, Leonard held key positions of increasing responsibility at Federal Express. Leonard currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University.
