Spare Backup is a young company that specializes in helping office users and small to mid-sized businesses protect their computer data quickly, automatically and cost-effectively. Today, Spare Backup took a major step towards enhancing its future by announcing they have created a backup application for the Apple Mac.
This version of the Spare Backup platform will allow users of Apple’s Mac to backup their computer data to their accounts within the cloud. The new platform provides users the ability to take simple and automated backup to all of their computers and will allow cross-platform recovery from anywhere in the world.
The Spare Backup platform will grant access to users via any browser to a wide array of capabilities which include music, photo and data sharing. Mac users will have the best possible protection from loss as well as be able to import and export information from the most popular social networking sites on the web, which include Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and Twitter.
Leading the way at Spare Backup, Inc. is Cery Perle who serves as CEO of the young company. Perle was quoted as saying, “We are excited to launch this offering for Apple users who represent a fast growing market. We are confident that our ease of use and robust features for Macs will be well received by Apple users. We look forward to working with our current and future channel partners as we enter into the market for Apple users.”
Spare Backup will make the Apple backup and cloud applications available to all of its current channel partners and offer a “beta” version for users to try and comment on starting April 19, 2010.
