Yesterday, systems integrator Emtec, Inc. announced that the company has expanded its management team to include Brian Mandel as its new Executive Vice President, Public Sector. The Public Sector division includes Federal, State, Local and Education clients. It specializes in IT transformation and optimization consulting, business service management, enterprise architecture, data management and systems integration services. In his new role, Mr. Mandel will oversee the growth of Emtec’s Public Sector Revenues.
Regarding his new appointment, Mr. Mandel commented, “I am truly delighted to join Emtec and be part of such a talented team. I’ve met with the leadership of each business unit and am really impressed by the talent, energy and enthusiasm that they bring to the business. Emtec is in an extraordinary position to take advantage of the economic recovery currently underway and I’m excited to lead the way.”
With over 20 years of sales and management experience, Mr. Mandel will be an asset to Emtec’s business goals. Previously, Mr. Mandel was Executive Vice President of Keane, Inc, and Vice President and Managing partner at Unisys Corporatio. Both positions focused extensively on the Public Sector. Mr. Mandel graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and received an MBA from Villanova University, both conferred with high honors.
