On August 6, LMI reported that their sales nearly doubled in the second quarter because of their acquisition of D3 Technologies Inc. They also experienced significant sales of aerostructure and military products. Their net sales in the quarter ended June 30 were $64.9 million, up 91 percent compared to $33.9 million a year ago. The company made $5 million, or 45 cents a share, compared to $2.9 million, or 26 cents a share, the previous year.
