Today Wave Uranium Holdings announced the beginning of field work on the company’s Utah property. The company has 1327 claims in the 27,000 acres (approximately 43 square miles) that was purchased on January 15, 2008. This area is located in the inter-river area of western Grand County Utah, just east of the Green River and north of Canyonlands National Park. The claims group comprises virtually the entire Mineral Canyon mining district, exclusive of land within the Labyrinth Canyon Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) that lies to the west. Mineral entry is unrestricted in the claims group.
Field work is broken down into two phases, the first of which, mapping, reconnaissance and geology, began today. The second phase of field work is drilling, and is scheduled for targeted areas in the summer of this year. The company is currently working on another Uranium property in Arizona. This property, Wilson Creek, is currently in phases 1 and 2 and has a rich history of dripping springs, which are believed to leave rich zones of both Potassium and Uranium.
Since the May 30, 2006 inception of Wave Uranium Holdings, they have not yet recorded any income and remain an exploratory company. However, the Las Vegas, Nevada based firm has been actively acquiring properties in North America and using their team of geologists and directors with proven track records successfully in the past 18 months. Exploration and mineral sampling sounds more promising than it has even been for Wave Uranium and with the acquisition of new properties comes greater potential for the future of the company.
