Today, Powin Corp. subsidiary Powin Energy announced that they had received an initial purchase order from LiteSolar. The order is for approximately $400,000 in lithium rechargeable battery products.
In addition to producing renewable energy products, Oregon-based Powin Corporation is a manufacturer of outdoor products such as outdoor cookware and grilling equipment, fitness and recreational equipment such as gun safes, truck parts, plastic products and furniture. LiteSolar is a full solar energy conversion company, offering design, financing and construction as well as operation and maintenance. LiteSolar also manufactures and installs solar-energy carports for residential and commercial sites.
Powin subsidiary Quality Bending and Fabrication is producing parts for solar and battery powered carports; this production coincides with the initial shipment of batteries.
