Giant Oil & Gas Inc. (GGSIF.OB) has announced that the company hired a Calgary-based firm to assist in the planning and execution of the company’s 3D Seismic program for their Highvale Project.
Giant Oil & Gas’s Highvale Project is located in the Tomahawk area of west central Alberta. This area is often regarded as being under explored and multi-zoned; yet several pertinent oil and gas reserves exist. The Highvale Project land includes highly prospective oil formations including the Nisku interior patch reef oil trend.
“3D seismic is an essential tool in identifying targets in the Nisku interior patch reef oil trend, and we are confident that our 100%-owned Highvale Project gives us a significant presence in this highly exciting oil and gas play. We will be releasing information further to this in the coming weeks,” said Mr. Rob Sandhu, president of Giant Oil & Gas.
Giant Oil & Gas Inc. is a junior oil & gas exploration company focused on oil exploration in two areas. These areas include the northeast extension of the Pembina Nisku Trend in west central Alberta and the massive Suffield Block in southeastern Alberta, both having significant oil reserves.
