Franklin Silk Enterprises co-ordinates the entire silk manufacturing process from the raising of silk worms, processing, clothing production and exportation of both final and raw products in the south western Szechuan Province know as Chongqing, China.
Franklin Silk has received the endorsement of the Chinese government to centralize and modernize the silk industry. In return for stimulating the local economy and supporting the governments’ initiative to distribute the economic growth throughout China, the government has provided the company with many preferential policies including various energy discounts, subsidies and tax breaks.
New manufacturing facilities have been constructed and contain new state-of-the-art processing equipment to enable Franklin Silk to increase both the quality and quantity of silk production. The modernization of the facilities and the acquisition of three silk related operations are anticipated to establish Franklin Silk as the largest silk conglomerate in Chongquin, China.
