(OTCBB: VYGO) shares climbed 1 cent, nearly 10 percent, to 17 cents this morning after announcing its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sovereign Oil Inc., entered into a lease with North American Refining Co. Per the agreement, Sovereign will lease North America’s compounding and blending facility in McCook, Ill. for six months. Sovereign will have access to the facility to blend and dry reclaimed used oil to produce lubricant products for the automotive and industrial market, as well as access to 20 storage tanks and North American’s on-site services, including packaging for quart and gallon bottles of oil.
Aethlon Medical Inc. (OTCBB: AEMD) announced its Hemopurifier has been found effective in capturing exosomes that suppress the immune response in cancer patients. The exosomes are released by solid tumors, lymphomas, and leukemia. According to the press release, Dr. Douglas Taylor at the University of Louisville found 60 percent of the circulating exosomes were removed from the blood of ovarian cancer patients during the first pass through a small-scale Hemopurifier – the study remained consistent through five trials. Reflecting the news, shares of Aethlon rose 9 cents, nearly 13 percent, to 80 cents in Wednesday morning trading.
Nighthawk Systems Inc. (OTCBB: NIHK) and SkyTel, a division of Bell Industries Inc. (AMEX: BI) announced they have agreed to join forces to provide two-way telemetry solutions to customers utilizing the Sky Tel Wireless Network. Per the agreement, Nighthawk and SkyTel are able to bundle each other’s products into their own telemetry product and service offerings. According to the press release, both companies will jointly use collaborative marketing. Shares of Nighthawk rose 2 cents, nearly 15 percent, to 12 cents on volume of 5.7 million Wednesday morning.
