CWLC – Stock GuruProfile – China Wireless Communications
CWLC has demonstrated a sophisticated business ability in their relationship with Hyundai in Tianjin, China. Now they are looking at the security and law enforcement market. This is a tremendous growth market. With restricted shares I am very interested in their ability to enter this arena.
CWLC’s current product line is compatible with the market for opportunities for the development of electronic products in law enforcement and the rapidly expanding private security market. The video surveillance industry is expanding rapidly as rising security needs emerge for private industry and law enforcement.
Their division Create Co. in Tianjin, China, (the third largest city in China) and CW Communications in Dallas, Texas, have the ability to act synergistically and provide customers with options in information technology that includes video surveillance equipment. This is a booming market and that’s obvious to everyone. There are cameras everywhere now. At virtually all traffic intersections, in commercial enterprises, in community living centers.
Security is everything, whether it’s where you live, you work or you drive. Technological innovations are driving this expansion – including the migration to digital, fully networked systems, according to the market-research firm iSuppli Corp.
With the emergence of networked internet protocol (IP), video surveillance cameras and IP video servers-along with the rising use of digital video recorders (DVRs)-video surveillance is moving beyond traditional security and into new applications such as transportation, retail, government and even home networking.
Networked video surveillance, which allows for greater flexibility, field upgradeability, increased automation and more intelligence to be incorporated into the overall system. Because of this, IP cameras will experience continued growth in surveillance, displacing existing closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras with modern technology that can be networked into larger security systems. Similarly, surveillance DVRs are transitioning into networked devices as well.
Global video surveillance camera revenue is forecast to grow to more than $9 billion by 2011, maintaining a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.2 percent up from $4.9 billion in 2006.
It is estimated that video surveillance unit shipments will more than double to 65.7 million units in 2011, rising at a CAGR of 17.1 percent from 29.8 million in 2006.
Our shares are restricted and we are sticking with CWLC. I think their Hyundai agreement is stunning and bodes well for the rest of their businesses.
