Calgary-based Company Moves to Develop Property in Southern Alberta
CALGARY, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ – Lexington Energy Services Inc. (LXES.OB) is in the process of hiring a contractor to develop another 15,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on the more than 8 acres it owns in Brooks, Alberta.
“This new facility will allow us to greatly expand the rate at which we manufacture our cutting edge energy service equipment,” says Lexington Energy President Larry Kristof. “It will also offer space to house the growing family of service companies that are part of Lexington Energy.”
Lexington Energy recently announced a letter of intent to acquire Brooks-based Southern Well Testing to complement the range of services it offers oil and gas companies. The city of Brooks is located two hours southeast of Calgary and is a regional hub for Alberta’s energy sector.
“Right in the middle of southern Alberta’s oil patch, Brooks is an ideal location,” says Lexington Energy COO Brent Nimeck. “We have access to all the best trades people and materials – all with far lower overhead than if we’d further expanded our operations in Calgary.”
The Brooks facility would roughly double Lexington Energy’s manufacturing space, while also adding 2,000 sq ft of additional office space for the rapidly growing company.
“With all of the work getting Lexington Energy off the ground behind us,” says Mr. Kristof, “this new manufacturing facility is going to help us accelerate the expansion of our fleet of the drilling rigs and nitrogen generation systems we’ve developed – further bolstering our revenue streams.”
