Today, WorldVest announced the official name change of the company to the Iron Mining Group, Inc. The company amended its corporate name as of October 15, 2010 with the State of Florida. Iron Mining Group, Inc. plans to apply to FINRA for a new trading symbol to reflect this change with the current symbol still being in effect.
Shareholders of WorldVest, Inc. will receive one share of Iron Mining Group, Inc. for each current share held. Management feels the name change will reflect the mission of the company and increase credibility.
Coupled with this name change is news that Iron Mining Group expects to bring its existing portfolio of Chilean iron ore deposits into product while evaluating additional iron ore mining opportunities and the construction of complimentary Chilean export logistics infrastructure with the company’s Chinese partners.
