VoiceServe Inc. provides next-generation software platform services to Internet Telephony Providers (ITSPs). The company today announced the appointment of Andrew Millet to the company’s board of directors and chairman of the board’s audit committee.
Voiceserve CEO Michael Bibelman said Millet supported Voiceserve in its early stages of development with critical expert financial guidance and that his service on the company’s board of directors will provide integral governance as the company pursues its expansion efforts.
Millet is a fellow charter accountant with the Institute of Charted Accountants in England and Wales. He has an MBA from the Henley Management College of the University of Reading, and received his accountancy training at BDO Stoy Hayward.
Previous work includes his position as finance director for Maintel, a UK telecommunications and data service company; and finance director for the Huntress Group, a recruitment specialist now owned by Normura. In 2002, Millet founded Wisteria, a UK-chartered accountancy, tax and business advisory service with more than 300 clients.
According to the press release, Millet also serves on the boards of ActivInstinct Ltd., the UK’s largest independent specialist sports retailer, Cyber-Duck Ltd., a digital marketing agency, and Pinkunlimited, an online news and consumer Web site.
Voiceserve’s Chairman Alex Ellinson referenced Millet’s 2005 appointment as Voiceserve’s secretary and company accountant in its early stages, and voiced his confidence in Millet’s continued contributions to the company.
“Andrew has played a pivotal role in the development of the company’s accounting systems to date. We could not find someone more uniquely qualified to work with our board in providing the necessary financial control oversight as we move into the company’s next phase of growth. We look forward to Andrew’s continued support,” Ellinson stated. “The second half of our fiscal year will be very active. Over the next few weeks we intend to add several technology enhancements to our already advanced module offering, and plan to showcase those capabilities at 10 industry conventions over the next six months.”
