FX Energy, Inc. issued an operational update on the company’s oil and gas activity in Poland, where the company is active in several different basins.
FX Energy reported that first natural gas production has started at the Kromolice production facility. The company plans incremental increases in production over the next thirty days until the facility reaches capacity of 10.2 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
The Kromolice production facility handles production from the Kromolice-1 and Kromolice-2 wells and is located in the Poznan area of the Fences concession in western Poland. FX Energy, Inc. owns a 49% working interest in the wells with the Polish Oil and Gas Company owning the balance and acting as operator of the wells.
FX Energy also signed a Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) with the Polish Oil and Gas Company on the Warsaw South concession. The JOA covers 880,000 acres and will be owned and 51% operated by the company.
Additionally, FX Energy reported that the company is currently drilling the Plawce-2 tight gas well and has reached a depth of approximately 3,000 meters. The company is targeting the Rotliegend sands and plans to drill to a total depth of 4,000 meters.
