Canada-based Genoil Inc. is an advanced petroleum technology company. The company combats the use of dispersants, such as those used in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, as its Crystal Separators can clean the water to five parts per million without the use of any chemicals. The company has a large volume demonstration unit which it is shipping to the Gulf of Mexico. It intends to demonstrate its superior, environmentally-safe technology to the large oil companies including Exxon, Shell, Chevron and BP.
The company believes its technology is the best solution to clean up the Gulf of Mexico oil spill as well as cleaning the sand on the beaches. Its chemical-free technology is unique in that it makes use of the laws of physics using centrifugal force, coalescing beads and gravity in five chambers almost free of oil before it arrives at the filter in the sixth stage. In this way, Genoil’s separators are not prone to clogging.
Genoil has also heavily promoted to the oil giants its Crystal Sea bilge cleaner for their oil tankers. In fact, the company announced today that it is shipping a Crystal Sea Separator to a major VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) operator which is a division of one of the top five oil companies in the world. The Crystal Sea unit will be installed on board a tanker for a trial installation with the goal of having the company’s units installed on the oil company’s entire fleet.
In addition, the company today announced it is forming a new subsidiary corporation in the Middle East for the purpose of business development in the region. It intends to sell its products such as the company’s port cleaning solution and its Crystal Sea product. The company plans to open an office in Dubai and another in Saudi Arabia.
