Fresh Harvest Products, a developer and marketer of natural and organic products, announced today that they have continued expansion of their “Wings of Nature™” snack bars throughout Walgreens stores in Oregon. The brand is now selling at approximately 100 Walgreens locations statewide. Wings of Nature is a line of organic snack products and beverages which include health bars and coffee bars.
Michael J. Friedman, Fresh Harvest’s CEO, commented, “Our continued expansion in Walgreens shows that our marketing plans and growth strategy are working. We are actively working with our distributor in the North West to further increase our retail locations and distribution points,” He continued, “We believe that this will have a positive impact on our revenues going forward and will strengthen our brand awareness. We are extremely focused on building loyal customers while building long term value for our Shareholders.”
Recently, Fresh Harvest has been aggressively growing their business marketing strategies. A new public relations firm, 5W Public Relations out of New York City, was announced one month ago to brand and market their name and products. Also announced was the signing of a new distributor in the Northwest. Although the name was not disclosed in the press release, it was stated that, “Their customers include: convenience stores, drug stores, grocery stores and restaurants. They provide full-service grocery distribution to more than 2,000 customers and their distribution map extends throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Northern California.”
The Walgreens relationship has also been a topic of press lately as nationwide expansion has also continued in Philadelphia. The Wings of Nature snack bars are slated to begin rollout in July and be located near the checkout in approximately 90 Walgreens locations in the Philadelphia area. In April, Fresh Harvest announced the approval of sales of the snack bars for all West Florida and North Florida Walgreens drug stores, which consists of over 260 stores located in the Tampa, Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Southern Georgia regions. The state of Florida also has Wings of Nature bars being sold in approximately 80 CVS locations in South Florida and Navarro, South Florida’s premier Hispanic drug store, with twenty seven stores located in Miami-Dade County.
