500,000th Client Milestone

110 Media Group announced in early May that they had signed up their 500,000th hosted client website worldwide. The Web1000 website displays a counter that shows 524,798 websites at the time of writing.

“These websites attract up to 2.5 million visits every day and provides integrated cross-marketing of products and services that no other Internet company has achieved to date.” said President and CEO Andre Forde.

“Ease of use is critical for the tens of millions of non-computer savvy Internet users worldwide who now want their own website. Forecasters agree that about 600 million websites will be built in the next two years and it is estimated that about 95% of users do not have the skills needed to build their own website. That is exactly what 110 Media’s tools are designed to do for them,” said Forde.
Subsidiaries
Global Portals Online

On December 28, 2005 110 Media Group completed the acquisition of pioneer software development company Global Portals Online (www.globalportalsonline.com) in a stock swap deal designed to bolster 110’s value.
Web 1000

Web 1000 (www.web1000.com) offers 50MB of free webhosting with no banners or pop ups.

Web 1000 Traffic (www.web1000traffic.com) is the official traffic solution for Web 1000. Their traffic comes from expired domain names. When someone creates a website, they also register a domain name for one year. If the owner does not pay the annual fee, the registrar will drop the domain. Every single day Web 1000 purchases abandoned domain names that have traffic on them, redirect them to their server and send out the traffic to the campaigns they serve.

Management
William Mobley Chairman, CEO & CoFounder

William Mobley currently serves as Chairman of 110 Media Group and it’s subsidiaries Global Portals Online, Inc. (formerly Personal Portals Online, Inc.) and Web 1000. Mobley is the Founder and President of Nextelligence, Inc., a privately held company, which provides various levels of assistance to dynamic Internet entrepreneurs. Nextelligence transforms these entrepreneurs’ ideas and/or concepts into successful enterprises.

Mobley previously founded and served as the Chairman of MegaMedia Networks, publicly traded Internet broadcasting and distribution company that delivered popular music, sports and entertainment through its online portal, MegaChannels.com. Megachannels.com became the number #1 male 18-35 destination site in the world, 8 weeks following its launch in March 2000. Megachannels.com held that position for months serving some 800,000+ unique visitors daily prior to the online advertising and dotcom fall-out in the late summer of 2000. Mobley also served as a principal investor to ImageCafe sold to Network Solutions 11/99.

Mobley also founded and served as President of World Commerce Online (WCOL) from 1994-1999, a publicly traded company and recognized leader in e-commerce business-to-business and industry based solutions. World Commerce Online, became an I2 Technologies powered solution and provided services to such clients as; GE Global Exchange Services, Dole Foods, Acosta, IBM and others. Wall Street was quick to see the investment potential. World Commerce Online gave investors over a 2000% percent return in the months following its debut on NASDAQ (WCOL went from..50 to over $28.00) prior to Mobley’s departure in the spring of 1999.

Mobley graduated from the University of Florida in 1984 with a Business degree in International Business Development and Marketing.
Andre F. Forde Director, President & CoFounder

Andre Forde currently serves as Director and President of Global Portals Online, Inc. formerly Personal Portals Online, Inc. He conceived the idea of Personal Portals in December 1999 upon departure from ImageCafé www.imagecafe.com (acquired by Network Solutions, Inc., a VeriSign, Inc. company in Nov. 1999 for $25M.) where he was the Founder and visionary of that company. Forde sought William Mobley’s interest to partner on Personal Portals Online, compounded by a need to develop a more extensive “consumer version” of Image Cafe and together founded Personal Portals Online, Inc. in April 2000.

Prior to Image Café, Forde worked with Mobley on commercial designs for World Commerce Online and various other brand organizations. Forde has been in the technology industry since 1988 developing interactive multimedia applications for IBM, AT&T, MCI, NASA, and various other Fortune 500 companies.

Forde attended Morgan State University in Baltimore and was sponsored by NASA to study Electrical Engineering, but found the profession didn’t allow him to be artistically creative. He changed his major to Mass Communications so he could hone his abilities in interactive design and communications, and balanced his creative abilities with a minor in Physics and Math.
