Earlier this week, leading high-end fruits and vegetable distributor, Sino Green Land Corporation (SGLA), announced that it recently appointed Ms. Sheena Shen as its new Vice President of Finance. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with many years of experience at some of the world’s most well-known financial institutions, Ms. Shen will bring unmatched financial expertise to Sino Green.
Ms. Shen’s resume includes time spent at premier financial institutions such as Deloitte & Touche LLP, UBS Warburg, and JPMorgan Chase. After over six years and many senior analyst positions at JP Morgan Securities, Ms. Shen spent three years as the Managing Partner of Great Wall Research where she provided financial advice to US-listed Chinese companies and consulted PRC companies in seeking international venture capital or private equity funds. Prior to that, she served as the Controller of Masada Group Technologies, where she was responsible for the company’s accounting and financial operations.
Mr. Anson Fong, Chairman of Sino Green Land, stated, “We are very pleased to have Sheena join our company as the Vice President of Finance. In addition to benefiting from her financial expertise behind the scenes, she will also be a valuable member of our team as the interface with members of the investment community. Her depth and breadth of knowledge in the area of finance, her background as a consumer food products analyst at both JPMorgan and UBS, combined with her ability to speak both Mandarin Chinese and English will enable us to further expand our investor relations initiatives. We believe her extensive accounting and finance experience will be a great value-added asset. We look forward to her contributions to the company and welcome her on board.”
Ms. Shen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University Hawaii.
