ALL Fuels & Energy Company (AFSE.PK), a Johnston, Iowa-based ethanol company, today updated its progress towards the construction of its planned 100 million gallon per year ethanol production facility in Manchester, IA.
“As we have aggressively pursued the acquisition of one or more producing ethanol plants, we’ve also made great progress towards the construction of our Manchester facility,” said Dean Sukowatey, AFSE’s President.
With respect to the planned Manchester facility, Mr. Sukowatey noted that the company already has:
Land
AFSE purchases 150 acres for the Manchester facility for $950,000.
Annexation
150 acres annexed by the City of Manchester as part of the company’s securing tax and other economic incentives.
Development Agreement
City of Manchester agrees to tax abatements and infrastructure improvements in and around the Manchester facility site.
Incentives
AFSE receives in excess of $17 million in infrastructure improvements, tax credits and property tax abatements. City of Manchester has agreed to provide the Manchester facility with sewer service to the facility site, roadway improvements in and around the Manchester facility site and a 10-year property tax abatement, a total incentive package in excess of $6.6 million. The Iowa Department of Economic Development has awarded a sales and use tax credit in an amount in excess of $10.4 million for High Quality Job Creation.
Air Quality Permit
AFSE obtains final Air Quality Construction Permit.
Water Quality Permit
AFSE applies for Water Quality Construction Permit and is awaiting issuance of final permit.
Final Railway
AFSE is awaiting final approval from the Canadian Northern Railroad of its proposed railway plan for the Manchester facility.
EPC
AFSE is finalizing the Engineering Procurement Contract with Kraus Anderson, Harris Mechanical and Delta-T Corp.
