Through the combination of its commercial stars, Lauren Holly, Angus MacFadyen, Lacey Chabert, Meatloaf Aday, and Billy Zane along with its award-winning director, Andrzej Sekula, The Pleasure Drivers is the first successful step in building and branding Leonidas Films, Inc. into an entertainment powerhouse. With The Pleasure Drivers sold to major distributors in over twelve countries around the world, company is poised to close a major four-territory deal with a publicly held film entity that will include North American, UK, and Spanish distribution.
Over the next year, Leonidas Films Inc. mandate is to develop a slate of high profile, star-driven, commercial movies that will appeal to a worldwide audience. The company will focus on primarily popular genre movies, from thrillers to family movies, which have a proven track record at the box office and in home entertainment.
The immediate goal of Leonidas Films, Inc. is to aggressively ramp up both the production and acquisition mode of the company. Company will focus on building a library of titles both through original content as well as through external acquisitions of existing libraries. Through the creation of a film library, Leonidas Films, Inc. will build its asset value and create an ongoing revenue stream for funding operations.
In first year of the company, the company intends to produce three new features, two action-thrillers and one family movie, which will have high-caliber talent attached. In addition, the company will launch Leonidas Films International which will sell its in-house productions directly to distributors around the world. Leonidas Films International will also aggressively acquire between 3-5 completed movies seeking worldwide distribution. By controlling the distribution of its original films as well as films produced outside the company, the addition of a sales and acquisition company will increase the company’s profitability by a minimum of 30%. By adhering to this model, Leonidas Films, Inc. will realize greater diversification of its investment capital.
As a result of creating a production, acquisition and international distribution operation, Leonidas Films, Inc. will be able to leverage its presence in the entertainment market and forge a new path to film industry success.
The Pleasure Drivers
The Pleasure Drivers is a story of individuals driven to an impulsive and desperate state by the conditions of their lives. The actions of the main characters (a recovering drug-addict caretaker, a psychology professor and his flighty student) bring them together in the most unlikely of circumstances. It is a thrilling glimpse at the dark side of human nature, and what can come in the search for pleasure.

Timothy Patrick Cavanaugh began his career in the entertainment business as an actor. He had lead roles in such films as Shadow Warriors, Dirty Money, Boys Klub and Tick Tick Tick. As a producer he has had a successful career in Independent films, commercials, infomercials and corporate videos.
In 2002 Tim partnered up with award winning Director of Photography and Director Andrzej Sekula “Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, American Psycho and Hyper Cube”. Tim and Andrzej recently formed Leonidas Films Inc. and completed their first movie “The Pleasure Drivers” Staring Angus McFadden, Lauren Holly and Billy Zane. In 2002 Tim produced the Discovery Channel series, “Explore Our World.” From 1996-2001 Tim was the Head of Production at Creative Entertainment Group in Los Angeles. Tim budgeted, supervised and line produced more than 100 film and video productions for clients such as Kodak, Rexall Sundown, Metrx and Black & Decker.

Best known as the cinematographer who gave director Quentin Tarantino the unforgettable look of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, the award-winning Andrzej Sekula was born in poland in 1954, After beginning his career filming documentaries in his native land, he attended Britain’s prestigious National Film and Television School, in Beaconsfield, UK, from 1985-88. He went on to commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries including Man from China (a selection of both the 1990 London and Edinburgh International Film Festivals) and Honey and Venom (which won first prize for cinematography at the 1992 BP Expo International Film Festival)
Sekula made his American feature debut as cinematographer of Reservoir Dogs (1992) and quickly became a much in demand director of photography on both stateside and British films, including Three of Hearts (1993); David Mamet’s Oleanna (1994); Tarantino’s Best Picture Oscar-nominee Pulp Fiction (1994) and his segment of Four Rooms (1995); Hackers with Angelina Jolie; Cousin Bette (1998) with Jessica Lange and Elizabeth Shue; the visually dazzling American Psycho (2002) with Christian Bale; He made his directing debut with the feature film Voodo Dawn a.k.a. Fait Accompli (2002) starring Michael Madsen, Rosanna Arquette and Balthazar Getty.
Sekula was presented The Award for a Special Achievement in the Art of Cinematography at Camerimage International Film Festival (1996), as well as nominated for American Psycho (2002). For Hypercube he won the 2003 Critic’s Award form Europe’s Fantasporto film festival, as well as earning a nomination for Best International Fantasy Film. He was nominated for Britain’s top film prize, the BAFTA Film Award, for his Pulp Fiction cinematography.
