StockGuru Blog: Metropolis Technologies Corporation Goal to Increase Customer Productivity

MTPT Metropolis Technologies Corp.

StockGuru Profile: MTPT

In March of 2006, Metropolis Technologies completed the acquisition of CyberGlobe. CyberGlobe is establishing a network of City Portals addressing the needs of local business, tourism, cultural producers, non-governmental organizations, associations and government agencies through a comprehensive suite of software applications that run entirely on the Internet.

Each portal has the potential for unlimited growth and expandability while it provides a marketplace for individuals and organizations to interact with each other and to initiate and complete transactions.

CyberGlobe’s business is information-enabling those with the information to manage it, use it, share it, and act on it without the need for outside resources. With accurate, easy-to-find information, individuals, business and government can make informed decisions and transact with one another. CyberGlobe combines technology with a wide range of consulting, networking and communications services in order to make organizations and individuals more productive and more profitable by using advanced technologies.

While each portal is city-based, CyberGlobe portals, unlike other websites, are part of a networked information eco-system that grows organically and is constantly evolving. The scope of the Portal Network allows for simultaneous, real-time commerce at local, regional and national levels. CyberGlobe’s Portal Network will be the primary distribution channel through which the multifaceted software applications are delivered to customers.

For instance, CyberGlobe will promote Caribbean festivals, empowering event organizers to influence local and international visitors and sell tickets quickly and easily.

CyberGlobe will launch City Portals globally under the brand CyberGlobe starting with the CARICOM countries. CARICOM Members States are: Antigua & Barbuda; Barbados; Belize; Dominica; Grenada; Guyana; Haiti; Jamaica; Montserrat; Saint Kitts & Nevis; Saint Lucia; Suriname; The Bahamas; and Trinidad & Tobago. While each City Portal can operate independently, CyberGlobe expects to partner with a local entrepreneur or established business to accelerate the adoption of CyberGlobe applications in that city.

Each CyberGlobe City Portal connects a local audience and potential visitors with the city’s hot spots, new spots, and best kept secrets. CyberGlobe City Portals reach consumers during the decision-making process and enable them to act and transact immediately. For businesses CyberGlobe offers a presence on the net and innovative ways to streamline business operations generating new revenue streams without incurring extensive overhead costs.

CyberGlobe serves business, government, visitors and residents through providing a one-stop marketplace for products, information and services on the Internet. Each city portal offers highly sought-after consumer requirements.

1. Tourists discover:

  • What to see and do (attractions and events)
  • Where to dine and stay (restaurants and hotels)
  • City info, weather, maps, movies, horoscopes and more

2. Businesses are able to:

  • Connect with consumers locally and internationally
  • Find local services with online marketing, communication and transaction capabilities
  • Build partnerships
  • Keep track of customers and communicate with them effortlessly

3. Governments bring their people together though:

  • Offering government information and resources online

Each CYBERGLOBE portal delivers revenue opportunities within rapidly growing market segments, positioning CyberGlobe and its partners to realize significant revenues across multiple verticals in the on-line marketplace. CyberGlobe applications are targeted to fill existing needs within a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar market for small and medium sized companies who need integrated business applications and e-commerce services. CyberGlobe’s Internet based applications provide clients with the ability to rapidly introduce process and revenue improvements with little upfront cost. The unique capability to launch and manage dozens of integrated portals together with the partnership sales model allows CyberGlobe to scale its business very rapidly.

The CyberGlobe business will be built on a number of revenue sources including:

  • City Portal or Country Ownership Fees.
  • Portal revenue
  • User registration or membership fees.
  • Monthly licensing fees to use the registered software applications.
  • Fees from the rental of space for premium business listings and banner advertising on the portals.

Product Revenue

  • Cyberglobe takes a percentage of all revenue for products delivered over the Portal network such as tickets sales, dating memberships, classified advertisements etc.
  • CyberGlobe offers a complete suite of self-service applications under one global portal network.
  • CyberGlobe Portals deliver an affordable technology solution to a very large marketplace, enabling businesses and consumers to interact and transact at an exceptionally low cost of participation.
  • CyberGlobe Portals provide immediate and ongoing revenue for Portal owners, managers and partners.
  • CyberGlobe Portals are quick to deploy – within days, not months as with traditional technology.
  • CyberGlobe delivers leading-edge online business tools. While many small and medium sized organizations have adopted the Internet for basic communication such as email and web sites, comprehensive e-commerce solutions are often far to expensive to deploy and rapidly become obsolete.
  • All CyberGlobe software applications are “pay as you go” with minimal up-front cost for a new business to initiate service. Additional capabilities can be added at any time through an automated purchasing process delivered through each Portal in the Network.

Software upgrades and enhancements can be instantly deployed by CyberGlobe thus keeping every application and all clients up-to-date and eliminating the expense of constantly updating software of each workstation or client machine.
The CyberGlobe system has the capability to instantly deploy national advertising and promotional messages across the entire Portal Network while allowing for local and regional customization.
All of the content on a CyberGlobe Portal is user administrated. That means that there is no need of an experienced Webmaster. There are no delays in posting data. There are no delays in changing information. Each Portal is updated, enhanced and expanded as quickly as the information can be input and images uploaded.
CyberGlobe online business tools help organizations manage marketing initiatives, documents, contacts and more. Affordable. No IT required. Ongoing updates. No computer reconfiguration required.
Reporting of client website activity and transactions is available 24 hours a day over the Internet.
