On The GOn the Go Technologies Group (OTC: OGHC) Interview with CEO Stuart Turk – Success Breeds Success
On The Go. (OTCBB: OGHC)
StockGuru spoke with On the Go Technologies Group CEO, Stuart Turk, recently about his vision for On the Go Technologies.
Turk told Stock Guru: “I had a vision for success. It had five components and they all begin and end with our management and employees.” The components are:
1. Build on Existing Success
2. Integrity
3. Experience
4. Focus on the Profitable Industries and
5. Keeping Our Story Out There
Stuart Turk noted proudly, “This vision is now a reality.” He’s building more than just a company, he’s building a brand.
Build in Existing Success
On the Go began with a foundation of successful enterprises which focus on the fastest growing and most lucrative sectors of the IT industry. This was the rocket fuel for his vision. He understood IT was the backbone of these industries and his vision was that On the Go would be the value added reseller that got there first, did it best, and made the sale. To do that he found profitable businesses and acquired them and their most important asset: talent in the shape of management and sales teams.
On the Go’s acquisitions were respected leaders and innovative product and solutions providers in each of their target industries – digital entertainment, publishing, education, healthcare, scientific research and banking and business solutions.
Integrity
“Once we had our businesses working in sync I knew integrity would be our life force. I believe character is your destiny and keeping our word is at the heart of everything we do.” On the Go goes the extra mile to meet and exceed expectations in every corner of the IT industry. Stuart Turk emphasizes that foremost in his agenda in building a company is building a culture of integrity. “Creating a strong ethical environment was a priority. Management leads by example in our firm and that sets the tone for excellence.”
Turk believes doing the right thing – acting with integrity – is fundamental trait essential for success. He supports an On the Go team that is discerning, responsible, and productive. This corporate culture creates an empowered foundation that in turn creates a self fulfilling process of success as the end product. Knowing what is right and acting on it is for On the Go a daily process.
Management Experience
Stuart Turk was quick to discuss the extensive experience of On the Go’s management team. “We are now a well-known value added reseller with a great name and an outstanding experienced management team.” On the Go has leveraged its name with great management experience.
Stuart Turk is the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. He is the founder and creative force behind On The Go. With over 17 years of R&D experience in the product and equipment manufacturing arena, Stuart Turk holds several Canadian and US patents for personally designed products.
Randy Kalpin is a director of On The Go Director and the founder of Compuquest. He manages the day to day logistics of the technology divisions. Following three years experience as an Account Executive for Toronto-based Northern Microsolutions, Randy independently launched the computer hardware/software value added reseller in 1989. He has demonstrated an ability to seek out strategic business resources in the employees that have taken root at Compuquest.
Carlos Ventura the Helios|Oceana Director of Operations was responsible for the largest growth in its history achieving revenues exceeding $9 Million annually. He began his career, over twelve years ago, in a then emergent digital media and entertainment industry with Alias Systems, managing partner relationships in Toronto followed by a period as regional manager in Detroit. Helios/Oceana delivers high performance computing, networking and storage applications.
Bert Silva has an engineering technology and corporate business background. As On the Go Sales Director and 1994 Co-Founder of Solutions In Computing he grew Solutions in Computing to an $8.5 Million company in 2001, focusing in the graphic design, prepress and pre and post production markets.
Bradley Southam is On The Go’s Go Motion and Design Creative Director. He spent 2000 – 2004 as the Creative Director of a leading Canadian disc manufacturer and video producer. While in London, Brad led the graphics department at Empress Cosmetics and further worked previously for several design firms in Canada and the UK.
Ralph Magid is a respected member of the On The Go Board of Directors and member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (Canada) Association. He has more than 25 years Canadian and international manufacturing and private and public company`operational experience.
This consolidation of talent and companies has reduced the administrative and functions to improve the transparency and integrity of management. Working together these managers are able to reconcile the strategic, financial and activity-based view of the organization into one over-archiving performance management framework.
Sales Team on Fire and Focusing on the Profitable Industries
On the Go currently has a staff of eighty employees. Half of them are in sales. “We have a tremendously experienced staff. When we acquired existing businesses we acquired a sales staff with roots deep in their fields of expertise. We did not recreate the wheel. We improved the wheel,” noted Stuart Turk.
Success at On the Go means growing their staff after the acquisition phase. They recruit only sales staff with extensive experience. Transferring to a company that is in an obvious growth mode like On the Go is desirable for an experienced sales professional. Here again, success breeds success.
On the Go sales and service revenue for the month of February hit an all time Company high of $3.5 Million. The increase in revenues is due in large part to the four acquisitions added to the corporate fold this past year: Helios/Oceana, Infinity Technologies, Island Corporation and Solutions In Computing, as well as organic and synergistic growth.
Keeping the Story Out There
In 2005, Stuart Turk predicted On the Go would be in the prestigious Top 30 Industry Solution Providers of Canada. In April of 2006, On the Go was ranked number 26 of the Top 30 Industry Solution Providers of Canada.
And if you’re keeping track this is not the only prestigious ranking into which On the Go has made entré.
Compuquest division won the Consumers Choice Gold Award for Best Corporate Computer Dealer, in the Toronto (Canada) and surrounding area on April 12, 2006, for a tenth consecutive year.
Infinity Technologies division is the recipient of HP’s 2005 4th quarter prestigious Service Excellence Award. A first time winner of this honor, Infinity was presented the Award for exceptional operational service performance with HP product in the large corporate sector for Ontario, Canada’s Central Region. http://www.onthegohealthcare.com/hpaward.jpg , to view the HP Award.
On the Go has been ranked as one of the country’s top IT sector newsmakers in 2005 by Canada’s most prestigious industry publisher, the IT Business Group (http://www.itbusiness.ca). On The Go, and Company President and CEO Stuart Turk, were ranked 21st, immediately after Cisco Canada’s President Terry Walsh.

Stuart thinks success is important but equally as important is keeping the story out there.
“I want to create an empire, but strictly in IT. With all of our acquisitions to date, On The Go is currently at a revenue run rate of $32 million.” commented Stuart Turk in IT Business Group’s article. Mr. Turk added, “I’m honored to be recognized by such a respected organization and greatly thank all of the Executive, Management and staff at On The Go for making this valued industry ranking a reality.”
Keeping the Story Out There
The last twelve month period has represented a steady climb in On The Go’s revenue stream and Management’s determination to grow the business to one of the top solution providers in North America. Management and the Board of Directors believes that the true value of the Company will be in its strong fundamentals, increasing tier one vendors and customer base, and a constant eye on smart corporate spending and bottom line profitability.
Turk sees this news as important in developing and growing sales and marketing teams and leading new business development efforts.
On The Go Technologies Group retained Hawk Associates for investor relations services. Turk said, ‘We chose Hawk Associates to represent our company with the investment community because of its reputation, integrity and skill set. Hawk is a respected leader in investor relations and we are confident that Frank Hawkins, Julie Marshall and the rest of the team will provide top-notch services to our investors through their state-of-the- art websites, effective press releases, e-mail alerts and communications with our shareholders.’
Frank Hawkins, CEO of Hawk Associates, said, ‘On The Go is at a pivotal time in its history as it approaches a CDN $30 million run rate. We look forward to keeping investors informed about developments in this rapidly growing company.’
Stuart Turk is leaving no stone unturned. He is not content to rest on the past success of On The Go. He is moving forward with speed and determination.
NASDAQ Listing
On the Go has achieved six of the eight prerequisites necessary to apply for a NASDAQ listing. Stuart Turk believes the ability to fundamentally appeal to the large audience of retail and institutional brokers, fund managers, research analysts and individual investors in the community that follow such listed companies is vastly important. It would be a tremendous achievement not only for the Company’s hard work, but also for the many shareholders who have faithfully followed On The Go’s progress since the 2000 launch.
SUMMARY – The Man with the Plan
Stuart Turk is the man with the plan for success. He eats it, he breathes it, he is determined. This is his shot and he is taking it. He is dedicated to his company’s future and to transparency. “We are proud of what we do and we want everyone informed. For us it’s easy, integrity, vision and hard work. I love what I do.”
