Organic food marketer and distributor, Fresh Harvest Products Inc. (OTCBB: FRHV), officially made its move to the OTC Bulletin Board today, starting its career on the boards at 50 cents a share.
“This is a very important milestone for [us,]” Fresh Harvest CEO Michael Friedman said, in a recent press release.
Since 2003, Fresh Harvest has made its name by selling and marketing natural and organic food products and beverages – like health bars, coffee bars, tortilla chips and salsa – under the Wings of Nature brand name. In addition, Fresh Harvest provides a grocery product line which includes several varieties of whole bean and ground coffees, olive oil and beverages.
Like most companies looking to uplist to the OTCBB, Fresh Harvest hopes the move will increase public awareness – and interest – in the company.
“[It can be] extremely hard to penetrate the organic food marketplace without Wings of Nature brand [of products,]” Friedman said. “There is interest and excitement surrounding our brand, which is now in several major supermarkets regionally and expanding nationwide. Being a public company will enhance our growth and create value for our shareholders.”
