Budget Waste Inc. announces its new construction waste recycling pilot program. BWI will pilot test the construction waste recycling program with major customers in its Calgary and Edmonton operations. The construction industry in the Calgary/Edmonton corridor is the fastest growing market in North America. Phenomenal growth in this area is presenting general contractors and homebuilders with significant challenge to manage its growing waste in an environmentally sustainable manner.

BWI has always demonstrated leadership in working with the construction industry towards environmentally sustainable waste solutions. Our new pilot will offer innovative, practical, recycling services that provide cost-effective waste and recycling solutions to the construction industry.” BWI’s new pilot program supports industry’s new environmental sustainable initiatives such as LEEDs, GreenBuilt and GoGreen programs. To date, through its recycling initiatives, BWI has diverted over 12,618,000 lbs. (6,309 tons) of waste from landfills.
