DESOTO, Texas (July 30, 2007) – eTelcharge.com Inc. (OTCBB: ETLC) provides secure payment methods for online purchasing by allowing customers to charge their items directly to their phone bill. Not only does this ease consumer’s worries of identity and credit card theft, but also caters to customers who don’t have credit cards.
“Shopping online is easy and convenient – it’s the way electronic download purchasing gets done. But online shopping has a dark side, the risk of credit card fraud, or, even more sinister, exposure of your most personal information through identity theft,” states the company’s Web site. “Just ask anyone who’s had that happen. They’ll tell you; it’s a nightmare.”
To eliminate that “nightmare,” eTelcharge will soon launch its proprietary technology that allows customers to pay for their online items in a unique way.
After registering with eTelcharge, online purchases are finalized by clicking the eTelcharge pay option. That same day, purchases are billed to the member’s home phone bill – no need for credit cards or debit cards.
Robert M. Howe, CEO told Market News First that more than 44 million people have been victim of online fraud or credit card theft; still, more people are buying online than ever.
“We secure data, we secure physical assets, we secure all information you provide,” said Howe.
Howe said the 2.0 technology will be available to customers this fall.
