Hybrid Technologies, Inc. made a monumental stride towards their future when they successfully demonstrated their lithium powered vehicles at the 2008 ALT EXPO and Plug In America Event.
Hybrid, incorporated in Nevada in 2000, is a development stage technology corporation that is focusing its resources and efforts on the development and marketing of lithium-powered vehicles and products, as well as on commercial and residential properties. Everything from scooters, bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, cars and homes are being converted successfully to zero-emission, lithium-powered vehicles and facilities.
Hybrid made a splash at the ALT Expo and then turned the heads of the automotive industry when they were invited to the Plug In America Event, which was held at the house of movie director Chris Paine who gamed fame when he directed the 2006 classic “Who Killed The Electric Car.”
Perhaps the most impressive moment for Hybrid came when they provided over 75 test drives for their popular LiV™ FLASH, an electric version of the BMW Mini Cooper. The eco-friendly crowd found the vehicle to be a solid solution to the ever-emerging fuel crisis we are currently experiencing.
While Hybrid astonished the crowds at the Expo and at the Plug In Event, they may have also made an important business connection that could be instrumental in the progress of the company. This connection was Green Rides, an eco-friendly dealer located in Campbell, California. Green Rides seemed extremely interested in the potential of bringing Hybrid’s vehicles into their lineup of fuel-alternative vehicles.
