Exousia Advanced Materials, Inc. (EXOU) announced they are now shipping industrial coatings produced at the company’s PowerShield facility in Tianjin, China. The company shipped its VISTAMER-based under-carriage coating to the Hunan Xiangjiang Group, which supplies the Chinese auto industry.
VISTAMER-engineered coating particles are used to enhance the performance characteristics of coatings, urethanes, epoxies and adhesives. The company says when that coating is combined with PowerShield coatings they form new composite materials with “increased strength, better adhesion, and greater anti-corrosion properties, enhancing the overall performance of the coatings.”
The coating also increases sound dampening and abrasion resistance, said Paul Crozier, vice president of industrial coatings.
“I am excited to announce that Exousia has achieved this newest milestone in the company’s international business plan,” said Exousia CEO, J. Wayne Rodrigue. “This is just the beginning of what I believe will be a very prosperous phase in the company’s development.”
Based in Sugar Land, Texas, Exousia serves both domestic and international markets in the manufacture of advanced resins, engineered particles, high-performance coatings, and structural foam and resin products.
