MyECheck, a California-based company, has been gaining national recognition by becoming the leader in providing an Internet gateway to Check 21 processing. MyECheck has shown online merchants a whole new way to do business, and these merchants have passed the savings onto their consumers, making the MyECheck concept a win-win for all involved.
While the concept of MyECheck has been a team effort, much of the company’s quick success can be attributed to corporate leaders, namely Edward R. Starrs, R. Stephen Blandford and James Heidinger.
Starrs is the company’s Founder and CEO. With over 20 years of successful management experience as an international business executive, it was his vision that has brought MyECheck to the forefront.
Prior to his career at MyECheck, Starrs served as president of Starnet Systems International, Inc. Starnet is a public company that was processing more than $2 billion annually in Internet transactions by the year 2000 through its StarMX transaction processing system. Starrs created comprehensive solutions for Internet payment processing, including successfully developing and implementing systems to control fraud, secure transactions and increase global distribution for e-commerce merchants.
R. Stephen Blandford is the secretary and CTO of MyECheck and brings with him more than 15 years experience as a senior Information Technology professional. Before coming to MyECheck, Blandford worked for many successful companies such as Maxum Entertainment Group and WinStreak, and has been a project lead on numerous software development operations. Blandford is skilled at both the business case and technology adoption, and for over a decade he has created the architecture for systems featuring virtually every emerging technology.
James Heidinger serves as MyECheck’s treasurer and CFO. Prior to coming to MyECheck, Heidinger was recruited to create and implement a corporate accounting system, provide financial statements, perform a systems conversion and set up a cash management system for Cucina Holdings, Inc., which is a $50-million food and beverage manufacturer. Heidinger has a reputation of being extremely effective in streamlining organizations for greater operating efficiency and upgrading staff productivity.
