Blueslice Networks and Elephant Talk Communications Inc. (OTCBB: ETAK) today announced a long-term agreement that will extend both companies’ global reach. As a customer of Blueslice -a provider of multi-profile subscriber management solutions – Elephant Talk will deploy next-generation Home Location Registers from Blueslice to expand their networks around the world.
“Elephant Talk sees the importance of building infrastructure and becoming a network based international telecom operator,” Martin Zuurbier, CTO of Elephant Talk stated in the press release. “By using the most advanced equipment, including the Blueslice ngHLR 3000™, we are able to have one point to manage our entire global network.”
Stephan Ouaknine, Blueslice president and CEO, said her company supports Elephant Talk and looks forward to participating in its expansion. “Elephant Talk is building a viable international telecom operator, enabler, and systems integrator as well as a revolutionary company offering a global service,” Ouaknine stated. “We are very excited to be part of their continued growth and expansion.”
According to the press release, Elephant Talk’s current deployment of mobile core networks and its plan to globally interconnect set it apart from other wholesale operators. With this established network, Elephant Talk intends to emerge as a viable systems integrator for carriers and a global front-end for companies looking for ways to offer their customers mobility.
