Streamline Health Solutions, Inc. (STRM.OB), a leading supplier of workflow and document management tools, applications and services that assist strategic business partners and healthcare organizations to improve operational efficiencies, recently announced the company’s financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2008 ended July 31, 2008.
Quarterly revenues totaled $4.8 million compared with $3.2 million reported during the same period one year earlier. The company reported a quarterly net loss of $0.4 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share, an improvement from a net loss of $1.1 million, or $0.12 per basic and diluted share during the second quarter of fiscal 2007. In addition, the company announced four new contracts with combined future revenues of more than $5 million during the second quarter.
Commenting on the quarterly results, Brian Patsy, the president and chief executive officer of Streamline Health, stated, “Our revenues were an all-time high for second quarter and 51 percent ahead of the same period last year. Our first half revenue was 21 percent ahead of last year’s performance and we expect continued strong sales performance for the remainder of the year.” Mr. Patsy added, “Based on new clients signed this year and the pipeline of anticipated contracts, we believe that the full fiscal year will show improved operational and financial results.”
