China VoIP & Digital Telecom Inc. (OTCBB: CVDT) today announced an agreement between its newly acquired subsidiary and virtual solutions provider VMware (NYSE: VMW) to create a partnership to produce innovative products for the global virtualization market and extend both companies’ product offerings and customer base.
Beijing PowerUnique Technologies Co. Ltd. (BPUT), CVDT subsidiary, signed an agreement with VMware, in which it will become an official Technology Alliance Partner of VMware, a leader in the world’s global virtualization solutions. VMware offers its more than 100,000 customers the ability to minimize capital and operating expenses, ensure business continuity, boost security, and even to comply with environmentally friendly standards. For BPUT, the agreement will enhance its products and help it extend its global reach, while enhancing VMware’s advanced virtual technology in the information security products marketplace.

We believe that the Technology Alliance Partner agreement between the two companies will help further develop the global virtualization market and we will see more innovative products for more customers around the world,” Kunwu Li, CVDT’s CEO and chairman of the board stated in the press release.
Following word of the agreement, shares of CVDT climbed 4 cents, nearly 8 percent, to 56 cents during Friday’s afternoon trading.
