NEI (NEI) Revises Outlook for First Fiscal Quarter with Higher than Expected Revenues and Income

NEI, a leading provider of server-based application platforms, deployment solutions and lifecycle support services for software technology developers and OEMs worldwide, recently announced revised and improved expectations for the first fiscal quarter period ending December 31, 2011. Net revenues are expected to be $68 million to $70 million instead of $58 million to $63 million as originally provided in November. Yesterday, A123 Systems announced that they would be supplying complete lithium ion battery packs to VIA Motors for use in VIA's eREV Powertrain vehicles.
